Should I continue to pursue a career in forestry (the outdoors is my passion) or should I pursue a career in special education which is so rewarding? Thanks!!Ever wish you had a psychic to tell you what path to take in life....need advice....?
You are lucky to have the choice of two things that you passionate about. A win-win situation.
I wouldn't want a Psychic, then it wouldn't be *life*. As you get older the paths get clearer. I think you will be happy with whichever road you choose! Special ed. would be more my thing (emotionaly draining in a good way though) and forestry can be just as rewarding...just helping and saving the nature instead :-)Ever wish you had a psychic to tell you what path to take in life....need advice....?
Both, which ever you think you'd enjoy more is the option.
It's my firm belief that there's no such thing as a wrong decision; you'll never know how the other option would've worked out, so there's no point regretting it. I'm sure either would be great, and ulitmately the decision is up to you.
The one thing I would say about work in forestry is that if you're involved in a lot of physical, tree surgery type work, there's only so long you can physically do that for. I have friends who work in this field and it takes its toll over time, as they get older. So, maybe you should carry on with that for now, and plan to change careers to work in special education later in life?
Special education would combine both careers, because that way you can work with people who are as dumb as a tree.
Psychics are like Vampires, they don't exist. Why else do they ask you a bunch of questions before making a prediction? They feel you out and when they have enough info on you, then by a so called miracle they make a prediction. If you think about it, It's nothing you don't already know. Their frauds. People want to believe in them because they can't make up their own minds or if things go wrong they can blame the psychics or somebod y else. They don't want to assume responsibility for screwing up their own lives, they need a scapegoat. Why can't they just tell you your future as soon as you walk in the door. Here's a giggle. They have a sign on the door that say's '; I knew you were coming';. $5 please. Nobody can decide for you, only you. Placing blame is not fair to others. Only you can decide. Good Luck to you. You have to make your own decisions. I know sometimes it can be difficult but that's what makes life so interesting and challenging. Makes it all worth it. Maybe you can do one as a career and the other a hobby or Part time work, just one of many suggestions. I.e: Have a career in Educating people and be a Forest Ranger on the weekends. I don't know what you want, I really don't. Good Luck in your endevours. Peace.
Not knowing whats going to happen next is what makes life interesting
Always pursue your passion, don't ever compromise it.I know acct.execs who hate their job,I've met 55 year old bartenders who love theirs
Choosing a career is difficult. Have you tried both? If you could, I would do a job shadow and find out which one you like most.
