Career/Life Advice?

I am 26 years old and of course have a full time job. I am going to be divorced soon and have no frineds local in the area. I have started I will call it an ';Online Business'; and do very well with it. I work about 70 hours a week to fill my time. I am 26 and have over $20k saved. I assume this is very good for my age. I am not satisfied with this in my life and always feel myself wanting more. Now my marriage is over and I work to consume the time. I want to buy a house for me and my boy, but also would like to invest my money or open my own business. What could I expect in stocks or any other business ideas. Would it be beneficial for me to go back to school? I already rent a house so I don't have to run out and buy one right away. I also have a huge urge to travel the world and go to different countries. The problem is I am lonely and nothing really makes me happy. My biggest issue is I feel no one will want to be with me because i already have a kid.Career/Life Advice?
It sounds like it would help to have some clearer life goals for the next 4 - 5 years and then develop a plan on how to go after them. You life sounds quite positive and you are off to a great start. Talking with a financial planner would be a good idea regarding your questions about money. The plan should support your broader life goals. I've found a free website called Sproximo really helpful in figuring out my life goals. It helps me develop a plan to work towards them and it sends me email reminders of the tasks I've set up.








It also sounds like you are understandably still getting over the end of your relationship. It helps to stay positive about yourself. Counselling might help - depending on where you live, there are groups for people who have divorced so that you can talk with other people who are going through it and don't feel so alone.





See if you can rediscover something you used to really enjoy doing and start doing it again. Invite your friends to join in.
