Career and life advice.PLEASE HELP ME. I DONT KNOW WHAT TO DO?

please please please answer. i dont know what else to do








After getting all 10 gcse's at grade c or above i decided to go onto 6th form and do a-levels in biology, chemistry and physics as i wanted to be a vet. but shotrtly into the year i realised that it was a pointless effort, as i would have to get all a's and would of had to get more a's at gcse level. so i quit 6th form. and looked for any job/ education i could find. i got a place in a college and am now studying horse management as part of a two year course. but i am totally bored of it- its a waaste of my time as i really dont want horses as a carrer, just a hobby. but i dont know what to do. i keep skipping lessons, falling behind and not handing in work. and my parents and others are i think ashamed. other parts of my life are suffering because the hours i attend college are long. my horse isnt getting ridden enouh. and i hardly spend any time with my family. i have also started eating alot out of maybe depression would you call it ? i cant quit my course because my parents would be so dissapointed in me and i would have no qualifications. i also have no idea what i want to do in the future. i think maybe something to do with science? i just dont want to be a waster. HELLLLPPPPP

Firstly, tell your parents how you feel, and leave the course. You're just wasting time and money if you are not doing well, and are not going to do it for a career.


Go back to highschool, and finish it. If you enjoy science, then maybe marine biology, nursing, physiotherapy, etc.


Get some work experience, or different types of unpaid jobs/volunteer work and see what you like doing. try a wide range of things such as animal assistance in a veterinary practice, builder, nursing, florist, carpenter, builder, sales assistant, massage therapist, etc. and see what you like the most

(Also, in my experience, college is supposed to eat up all your free time. For me it barely left enough time for sleep, let alone family. But it doesn't stay that way forever.)
