Hearing Problem and Social Life. Advice please.?

I technically don't and shouldn't have a hearing problem. However, I have some trouble talking with people because I frequently do not hear what they said and would require them to repeat it. It's usually because it's too noisy or they speak too quietly for me. But other people can hear them though. This affects my social life. This is also why I don't like talking on the phone. Any solution or advice for my situation?Hearing Problem and Social Life. Advice please.?
First off, you need to have your hearing tested. There are many things that can cause a permanent or temporary hearing loss.

I've been hearing impaired all my life. I wear hearing aids. One thing you can do that will help is to always maintain eye contact. I find that helps immensely. Stand close to people. If you hear better out of one ear, turn that ear slightly toward to the person you are speaking with but maintain eye contact.

It's possible that you have-for whatever reason-suffered permanent damage to your hearing. Many people don't realize the damage that everyday life can do. Playing your radio too loud, being in places where the decibel level is too much for you (airports, train stations, etc). Whenever I see some teenager driving along with their car stereo so loud that I can hear them coming long before I ever see them, I cringe. I just know they are going to end up with some degree of hearing loss.

Get your hearing tested and go from there. If you have indeed suffered a permanent loss of hearing, the doctor can help you with tactics to improve communication and recommend a hearing aid, should you need one. Good luck.

PS There are many phones available with volume controls on them. Even most cell phones have that feature.Hearing Problem and Social Life. Advice please.?
Why don麓t you seek medical advice? there are lots of options out there.
If it is not a hearing deficit, I do believe you have a simple problem. Focus. Works wonders and I am not saying that to be funny. I had the same problem about 5 years ago. I started taking focus factor (gnc carries it) and it helps with other things too.
do you have this problem when talking to people in your family?
Whether you think you should or shouldn't have a hearing problem, you do, in fact, have one. You need to get your hearing tested and the problem accurately diagnosed. Your focus here should be on the problem (your hearing) not the consequences (your social life).
I used to have the same problem with people before firstly you stop listening to loud music/tv. Then listen to the t.v. on low volumes edventually your ears will adjust so that you can hear people quitley. That should help for starters.
Have your ears checked by a doctor. There may be some water or wax in your ear or you may have a hearing deficiency.
